Message from the Headteacher
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Bidston Village C E(Controlled) Primary School. We are a Church School with strong links to St Oswald’s church and the local community. We pride ourselves on the fact that Bidston Village is a happy school with a positive atmosphere and excellent relationships between staff and pupils.
As a Church of England school we are committed to the development of the whole child in a nurturing, enquiring Christian atmosphere of mutual respect, acceptance and forgiveness. Within our friendly and caring family atmosphere we greatly value the partnership between home and school. We expect parents/carers to fully support the school and the Christian values it promotes along with the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.
We aim to help our children feel safe and happy within our school community and to develop their individual potential in all areas of learning in a stimulating environment. We have high expectations of behaviour, learning, application and achievement. We want all children to experience success, to work hard, to do their best to achieve their learning targets, behave well and reach their full potential.
