Bidston Village C.E Primary School
Headteacher Message

It is an honour and privilege to introduce myself as the Headteacher of Bidston Village CE Primary School and on behalf of all of our staff and governors I would like to wish you a very warm welcome. Thank you for visiting our school website, I hope that you can get a sense of the energy, ambition and ethos of Bidston Village CE Primary School.  Our school is a church primary school in the heart of Bidston, which is Voluntary Controlled and part of Chester Diocese with very strong links with St Oswald’s Church and the local community.

Our school vision underpins all that we do: to guide our children to develop their God-given gifts to the full and live fulfilling lives, rooted in the values taught by Jesus; based on the Gospel value of love for one another: ‘Join together to support and encourage one another to promote love and good works’ Hebrews 10:24. Through living out our school vision, we exemplify how together we: ’Love Faith. Love People. Love Learning.’

Underpinning our very inclusive school are strong, caring and compassionate relationships. All the children, staff and governors know each other well, and every individual plays a vital part in the life of the school. We believe that by nurturing children, families and staff so that they feel safe, secure and happy enables them to be confident to strive to reach their full potential. Through our rich and balanced curriculum, we aim to broaden horizons and open doors to all that life has to offer, allowing our children to experience life in all its fullness.

Our staff and governors are very proud of our school and the achievements of our pupils. Hopefully you will find the answers to many of your questions on this site. If you are interested in finding out more, do get in touch – I am sure you won’t be disappointed; our children and staff would love to show you around!
