Our Pupil Parliament group had a wonderful day trip to London. They were extremely lucky to visit The Houses of Parliament, see Buckingham Palace and enjoy a delicious meal at Pizza Express.
We were delighted to welcome the Mayor and Mayoress to Bidston Village CE Primary School as part of our ongoing commitment to promoting a love of reading. Their visit celebrated our whole‑school reading culture and our involvement in the Coram Beanstalk initiative, which supports children in developing confidence and enjoyment in reading.
HI Impact Workshops visit our school to deliver exciting, practical sessions that bring learning to life. Their workshops spark imagination, deepen understanding and give pupils memorable experiences across the curriculum.

Visits and visitors
Each term we plan for a visit and/or visitor to enhance our curriculum. These are linked to our learning. Where possible, we try to utilise our immediate area in order to build up the children’s knowledge about their locality and also to minimise environmental and financial costs.
